The servant who ate all the Witch’s birds in The Witch’s Rock legend.
He prayed to a rock to allow him to enter, and it protected him until he prayed for it to open again. He could also “swim” through the ground (which is the origin story for the hot pools).
Both of those behaviors would make an interesting enemy.
